[ Ukagaka ]

An ukagaka is a desktop toy that gives you a character to hang out with you. More information on those here. Please read it thoroughly before installing or sending me questions about it.

I've been dabbling with programming ghosts since May 2023 (if you don't count one shell I made in 2015) as a simple medium for fictional work. These are the works I have finished or otherwise have contributed to!

Aster™ Assistant Software

First fully finished ghost project, completed in an inordinate amount thanks to public resources made by people in UTD community, machine translating japanese resources, and pure hyperfixation madness. Also first ghost based in CaelOS project.

Created with the main goal in mind being to establish Aster's character voices, and as a "dual-module" being, to differentiate them from their roots in fandom. First released on Oct. 9th 2023.

Aster™ Terror Star!

Second ghost and finished work set in CaelOS universe, delving deeper into worldbuilding and establishing Aldebaran, a fusion of Rigel and Vega introduced in Assistant Software.

In addition, serves as an experiment with more advanced shell (by which I mean the shell has like 450 images...) and ghost programming, after getting familiar with the basics after work on Assistant Software. Additionally, unlike Assistant, Terror Star was made with more direct help of UTD community, through their server on Discord. First released on Oct. 19th 2024.

Useless Box

It's a cat! In a box! That it really doesn't want you to open.

A project made immediately after finishing Terror Star in a couple days as a sort of a shitpost. Unlike the other two projects has a much simpler shell system. First released on Oct. 22nd 2024.

Quiet Conversation Over Tea

Catching up with a childhood friend at a quaint cafe.

Collaboration with Zichqec for Ghost Masquerade 6, a japanese ukagaka event where ghosts are made with the intention to disguise who exactly worked on the ghost. I have created the shell and designed the character, in addition to some writing, and Zi has written the ghost and most of the writing. First released on May. 2nd 2024 as part of the event pack, then May 17th, 2024 as a standalone ghost.

Photoshop Flowey FLELE shell

A shell for FLELE (ghost music player) I made in the midst of Undertale hyperfixation while sick, way before I fully understood what ukagaka even was. Possibly compatible with FLUX as well but I actually never tested it. Released on Dec. 5th 2015.

I Come In Peace (+ Translated)

A joke balloon made for Etc. Jam 2025, where people make anything except for ghosts. The idea was to make a balloon that was unreadable by design using a font made up of symbols rather than letters. In this case, the font Asterisp Beta was used, made entirely out of variations on the asterisk symbol. The font also inspired the design of the balloon itself. Due to limitations of the font, only latin symbols are masked!

The balloon also comes with a "translated" version, which doesn't have the font included. Both balloons released March 15th 2025.

Sputnik Messenger (Portable)

Balloon originally designed for Aster™ Boredom Simulator, as of writing a very work in progress project. I felt like the design was too good to be kept private until whenever I finish the ghost, so I made small changes to make it less tailored to specifically Boredom Sim and useable with other ghosts.

Created to simulate recieving messages/notifications in a fictional IM service within CaelOS universe - Sputnik Messenger. The design ended up a mix of things: Telegram + Discord, Huion drivers blue color scheme, and a distant memory of LineageOS...?

Includes ballons for speech (incoming transmission), system message (for OOC notices), and two larger ones for Menu and Options.
